I’m a California transplant thriving in the DC humidity. I’m a big fan of good books, romance languages, and interesting people. Having grown up in sunny Southern California, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to study Political Economy and Spanish & Portuguese at the University of California, Berkeley. After 4 great years, I moved into San Francisco and worked in sales. I grew acutely aware that listening first is the best way to deliver on client needs.
I relocated to Washington, D.C. to work in the communications space and be at the political epicenter of the country. So far I’m impressed with this city’s high-caliber minds and ambitious go-getters. I love being in a place where people have come from all over in hopes to make something of themselves. The winter was fine but I’m thoroughly surprised and delighted that I haven’t melted yet in the summer.
Outside of work, I am very close to my family, including my two siblings who live here in D.C. I try to keep up my Spanish and French as best I can. I love listening to podcasts, cooking new vegetarian recipes, and I look forward to my book club every month.
