Effective energy and environmental policy depends on clear communication between the scientific and policy communities. My work focuses on energy policy, environmental security and legislative affairs, translating technical insights into actionable solutions. Bridging the gap between scientists and policymakers is essential to developing informed, impactful policy.

I developed this perspective through hands-on experience in both legislative and public affairs spaces. I interned with Senator Martin Heinrich and Senator Tom Udall, supporting policy initiatives in nuclear energy, climate resilience and infrastructure. These roles deepened my commitment to energy and environmental policy. I built on this foundation at Pioneer Public Affairs, working with clients in the energy and technology sectors to navigate government affairs.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, concentrating in Science, Technology and International Affairs. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my skills in policy analysis, communication and stakeholder engagement.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I’m always happy to talk about green chile (and yes, it's chile, not chili), hot air balloons and breakfast burritos. When I’m not working, you can find me crocheting, exploring museums or at a concert.
