Navigating the dynamic D.C. atmosphere to meet the evolving needs of clients is a unique and exciting challenge. With my passion for government and sustainability, Lot Sixteen is where I belong.

My previous work has been with social policy in the non-profit sector, both on a local and state level. Advocating for policy changes takes collective action and collaboration on a large scale. The work demands resilience, as progress can be slow – and adaptability, as changes usually come unexpectedly. The experience of moving from grassroots organizations to the national level has led me to understand the universal importance of forming and maintaining relationships to get important work done.

I received a degree in Economics from Miami University (the one in Ohio), where I captained a rowing club. While I’ve put away my uniform, you can still find me doing just about any sport that keeps me outside. As a Tennessean, backpacking through the mountains is still my favorite activity. When I’m not trying to explore every inch of D.C., I can usually be found reading, cooking, or baking elaborate desserts.
