I’m a public relations and earned media strategist--which is just a fancy way of saying I know how to create a spectacle and control the narrative.
I've spent the last few years working alongside the best and brightest in the public relations and digital strategy space to develop earned media strategies and manage multi-faceted communications campaigns for clients ranging from nonprofits to corporations and trade associations.
I believe a good consultant is a strong partner in message development and project planning and a relentless go-getter when it’s time to execute a strategy. While there’s a special place in my heart for creative musings and abstract messaging conversations, I’ve found that my ability to focus on coordinating logistics and garnering support from stakeholders is uniquely valuable when it’s time to bring a message to life.
My career prior to joining the Lot Sixteen team was primarily rooted in nonprofit communications, where I developed messaging and digital campaigns to advance a variety of social justice initiatives and progressive causes via my roles at Revolution Messaging and Facing History and Ourselves.
Although I’ve lived in DC for the better part of the last decade, I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, which I still consider home. I have four awesome sisters, a degree from American University and an incredible sense of humor, which I humbly wield in drafting sketch comedy and stand-up in my free time.
