Known for my calculated curiosity, I’ve made a name for myself as a dedicated, analytical, and proactive learner. I have an unrequited desire to explore issue areas outside of my comfort zone, and I leverage my experience in a multitude of policy topics to ensure thoughtful, creative results. As an underscored leader, I have a talent for listening, and I believe that my considerate and meticulous engagement with the community around me underpins my strong work ethic.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and I am a recent graduate of the Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) where I received my degree in Public Management, Leadership, and Policy. I also minored in the following subjects: International Relations and Diplomacy, Global Public Health, and Computer Information Science. While at Ohio State, I was the Director of Governmental Relations for the Undergraduate Student Government, and resultantly, I had the privilege of representing all 47,106 undergraduate students to Ohio State’s local, state, and federal elected officials.
Most recently, I spearheaded research on the student debt crisis with Free the Facts, and I was a Progressive Turnout Project Fellow for Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH-14) on the Ohio Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Team. Throughout my undergraduate journey, I gained valuable experience through internships at the Ohio Statehouse and with various nonprofit organizations, delving into diverse issue areas including student debt relief, healthcare policy, environmental initiatives, the state budget, LGBTQ+ rights, and more.
When I’m not engrossed in policy work, you can find me at a concert, perusing a local flea market, or exploring the local food scene.
