Good policy is factually informed. Great policy is factually informed and inclusive. Coming from a trade association, coalition building was critical to achieving regulatory goals and keeping both stakeholders and members in the loop.
I’ve been drawn to politics since high school, during which I dedicated my election seasons to Get Out the Vote campaigns for local and state representatives. Originally from Connecticut, I moved to D.C. to attend George Washington University, from which I graduated with a dual B.A. in International Affairs & Political Science and an M.A. in Political Science, with a Concentration in World Politics. I’ve had the privilege to both work on and study a range of policy topics, tackling everything from domestic reproductive rights to international energy security dilemmas.
Prior to joining The Lot, I spent nearly a year as the Mid-Atlantic region’s government relations liaison for a building codes trade association. When I’m not in the office, you can find me hiking the New Hampshire 48 or spending too much time cooking.
