I’m a skilled communications and political strategist who translates complex policy issues into integrated advocacy campaigns to achieve business outcomes. I’ve spent over 15 years working in public affairs from all angles - political campaigns, Fortune 100 companies, start ups, and strategic communications firms. From these experiences, I have learned that it has never been more important to proactively and consistently tell your story because if you don’t, someone else will.

At Lot Sixteen, I advise clients across a range of highly regulated and publicly traded sectors – including utilities, clean energy, critical minerals and mining. In partnership with clients, we have used research and data to execute integrated advocacy campaigns to win policy and regulatory battles, reimagine corporate brands to effectively communicate companies’ value to a variety of stakeholders, build coalitions to activate important third-party voices, and implement campaign-style practices so clients are nimble, proactive, and responsive.

Before joining the Lot, I was the director of public affairs at a Fortune 100 energy company. Based in DC, I led numerous successful integrated advocacy campaigns at the state and federal level to modernize energy policies to recognize the environmental benefits of zero-carbon nuclear power. I also spent two election cycles in the battleground state of Iowa working on a presidential and a U.S. Senate race, I worked in Singapore to help a startup incubator scale around the region, and I worked five years at the Glover Park Group’s Energy’s Sustainability Practice (now Finsbury Glover Hering) executing campaigns on climate and renewable energy, infrastructure, and conservation.

I grew up in central Pennsylvania and graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. My husband and I have two wonderful children and an energetic labrador, Baines. On the weekends, I enjoy rooting for my favorite sports teams (COYG, We Are, and Go birds!), stealing bites of food my husband has cooked – before he’s finished cooking, or hiking in the DMV.
